What you’ll need:
- plastic shower curtain rings
- a few colors of embroidery thread
- glue gun
Gather the ends of all colors of the embroidery thread. Line up the ends carefully and, using a very small dot of hot glue, affix them to the inside of the shower curtain ring. Make sure that they lead toward the portion of the ring that snaps closed (this will be the backside of your napkin ring).
Begin wrapping your first thread. Choose the color that you’d like at the back of the napkin ring. Wrap it repeatedly around the ring and the other threads, hiding the snap on the ring and the additional thread colors. Wrap until you’d like your next color to start. Simply choose a new thread and begin wrapping that one, again hiding all other threads.
Continue wrapping all the way around the ring…
Wrap the final color until it meets your first thread. Use a very tiny dot of hot glue to secure the thread to the inside of the ring and snip the end.
You’re done! Enjoy!
